We’re a Times Top 100 employer (six times!), and Search Laboratory featured in the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain list. Data Science and reporting are already in high demand, and we’ll continue to see growth in this area. This role provides the perfect opportunity to kick-start a career in data science, with multiple avenues for progression on the horizon.

Data is at the heart of what we do: it drives the decisions and actions we take and is a fundamental part of the service we offer to clients. We’re working with some of the world’s largest brands, deciphering the masses of data so they can beat their competitors online.

We’re looking for someone as passionate about this as we are, who can expertly pull data from online platforms and systems, ready for analysis. You’ll have experience in data interrogation and analysis of large datasets, and be able to design, develop and deploy client dashboards and reports.

The perfect person for this role will:

  • Enjoy working in SQL Server, Big Query and/or Excel
  • Use their Developer skills to develop tools that will retrieve data from third party API’s
  • Have experience collecting, aggregating and analysing data from a number of sources (for example, Google Analytics, Rank tracking, Google Search Console and Advertising platforms
  • Pride themselves on meticulous attention to detail; ensuring absolute integrity and validity of the data in reports
  • Enjoy working with others to develop business intelligence / KPI dashboards for client reporting (ideally with experience of BIME, Google DataStudio, QlikView and or Tableau)
  • Be autonomous and tenacious, with an appetite for continuous development and learning
