CATERING ASSISTANT required as soon as possible Salary: NJC8 £5677 per annum actual salary) 15 hours per week to cover lunchtime, with flexibility on Inset days
Term time only (39 weeks)
We are seeking to appoint a catering assistant to join us as soon as possible to help in the running of the sixth form centre catering provision and, on occasions, work in the main kitchen. The successful candidate will be required to carry out general kitchen duties, food preparation and service for a number of meals per day, ensuring correct portion control, washing up and cleaning of equipment and furniture.
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
- Good basic education, including qualifications in literacy and numeracy
- Basic Food Hygiene Level 2
Previous catering experience in a school meals or similar catering establishment would be advantageous.
