The Role: Physiotherapist The Salary: £24,663/pa (pro-rata'd) Hours: 30hrs per week
Hollybank Trust is a charitable organisation, our therapy team provide therapy to around 100 adults living in our Care & Nursing Homes as well as to the young people and Children using our on-site school. All of the people who use our services have complex physical and associated learning disabilities.
The Physiotherapy Team is based at our main site in Mirfield, West Yorkshire and consists of Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy Assistants working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Nurses, Enrichment & Social Care colleagues.
We have excellent facilities at our on-site Therapy Centre which include our excellent Therapy Unit with Trampoline, Hydrotherapy pool & Spa facilities.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated clinician to join and complement our professional and supportive team. You will receive support from the Senior Physiotherapist and team peers. You will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
We have a genuine commitment to training and development and post holders are expected to develop themselves professionally in line with both current and future service needs and requirements. The successful candidate will have access to regular supervision and development from senior staff and be encouraged to participate in a variety of training and development opportunities. You will be required to contribute to the in-service training programme and will participate in the supervision of students and other Physiotherapy staff.
In addition to our main site in Mirfield we also have 3 small Care Homes at locations in West & South Yorkshire which you will be required to visit occasionally therefore it is a requirement that the applicant holds a full driving licence and is a car driver.
