The V&A’s commercial department has developed an award-winning global brand licensing programme, the profits of which are channelled back into the V&A. It is recognised that there are greater opportunities for development of new business, both in the UK and overseas, in conjunction with the museum’s ambitious plans for audience development and touring exhibitions, particularly in Europe, USA and APAC. 

This role is positioned within the well-established Brand Licensing team and alongside the Publishing and Retail functions.

Main purpose of job:

To support the research and approvals aspect of licensed product development, with a focus on range expansion, and the creation of new product ranges.

Terms:

This is a fixed term contract: due to start in late May/mid-June TBC and to end in July 2024.

Net working hours (i.e. excluding meal breaks) are 36 per week. Normal working hours are 9am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-5pm Fridays.
