Heanor Gate Science College, situated on the Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire border is a ‘good’ school (Ofsted March 2017) with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable technician to provide curriculum support within our very successful science faculty team.  Duties will include preparation of equipment and resources for lessons, as well as some in class support.  Ideally you will have previous experience of providing technical support in an educational environment, but this is not essential.  You must be able to work confidently and competently under pressure.  Most importantly, you should enjoy helping young people to learn and be successful.

Applicants would be expected to share the Trust’s high aspirations and expectations for pupils and staff.
