You will be responsible for the overall management and responsibility for the financial accounting and tax activities of the Company. Implementing and maintaining a robust set of fiscal processes and procedures to ensure that both regulatory and financial compliance is adhered to and kept up to date. With an oversight and management of the Company balance sheet and key areas of working capital including capital investment and creditors. As well as day to day and talent development management of the financial accounting team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure all official changes released through the business are managed and implemented in a timely and concise manner. Ensure others are informed and trained where appropriate and records updated, and any changes to documents are controlled via the appropriate teams to latest issues.
  • Communication is essential, inform and escalate issues to key stakeholders where appropriate, present information and report results in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • You will be expected to take an active role in continuous improvement projects and will be coached and trained in any necessary skills.
  • You will be expected to identify future development opportunities for yourself and submit proposals to your Leader.

 

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience in managing external stakeholders including external auditors.
  • Tax/accounting experience in industry or practice.
  • Finance Team management experience.
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CTA.
  • Detailed tax knowledge, with expertise in Corporation Tax and VAT.
