Are you passionate about your profession?
Would you like to share your knowledge with others?
Milton Keynes College has a great opportunity for you to get involved in tutoring next year’s intake of AAT students. The college offers a range of qualifications within this area (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4). We are currently keen to engage with individuals suitably qualified and experienced to assist teaching across L1 – L3 from September 2022.
Our courses run using a hybrid approach – face to face classroom based sessions combined with some sessions delivered remotely in real time. Some lessons are help during the day, others in the evening and perhaps an occasional Saturday morning.
Our AAT students are keen to learn, and they would welcome enthusiastic tutors to help them on their journey. No previous teaching experience - don’t let this put you off… If you are passionate about accounting and have the ability to inspire and bring the profession to life for our students then we can help support you with training to help you achieve your full potential, just as we expect you to be able to help our students achieve theirs. We are recruiting bank staff willing to provide occasional cover and perhaps even a cohort of students.
We would be delighted to see your CV if you are confident and energetic, looking to share your professional knowledge and learned experiences with a new generation of accounting professionals.
MK College will treat all applicants fairly and with respect, irrespective of their background, disability or any other individual characteristic. We particularly encourage applications from people with backgrounds which are currently under-represented within Milton Keynes College. All offers made to successful candidates are subject to satisfactory outcomes to a range of pre-employment checks including a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS). In addition, security clearance is required for all prison services positions up to Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level.
