Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

Westdale Junior School is seeking to appoint a warm, caring, suitably qualified/experienced teaching assistant who will help to make our learning activities engaging and fun whilst ensuring pupil progress through setting clear targets and building on prior attainment. Applications are invited from suitably qualified/experienced teaching assistants who would like to be part of a hardworking, talented and friendly team.

The successful candidate will work to support teaching and learning:

  • In the classroom
  • Monitor and intervene during learning time to ensure amazing learning and discipline is the norm
  • Assisting in the setting of tasks which challenge pupils and ensure high levels of interest

Our school currently has 239 children on role aged 7 – 11. There is a strong commitment to team working and our staff work hard to plan exciting and creative learning experiences that develop key skills and inspire in our pupils a real love of learning.
