Milton Keynes College People Services Team are expanding, and we are looking for an experience Human Resources Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead in all HR business operations, across the campus HR team and regional Offender Learning HR team. You will provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, line manage the Senior Business Partners, act as an escalation point for the team, and manage processes within agreed timescales.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join our forward thinking and hard-working People Services Team, who are all committed to providing a comprehensive service to support our staff in building a truly outstanding education institution.
As a successful candidate, you will have:
- A relevant CIPD qualification level 7 or above and be a Chartered Member of CIPD with evidence of Continued Professional
- Experience in leading a team of HR professionals
- Work effectively on a variety of pressured and time bound activities at the same time.
- Confidence and experience in making assertive decisions regarding Employee Relation matters
- A pragmatic, business focused approach which is legally compliant
- Ability to help build internal capability and knowledge within the team
- Excellent interpersonal skills, be supportive but challenging with high emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Exceptional organisation skills
Location: Chaffron Way Campus, Leaden Hall, Milton Keynes
Salary: circa £45,000 per annum,
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
