Night Concierge – Great Guildford Street

£19,281 - £20,546 per annum

37.5 hours per week

We’re currently looking to recruit a Night Concierge to join the team at Great Guildford Street, a large hostel for men and women who have a range of support needs such as mental health, alcohol and substance use. The post-holder will provide first contact and safeguarding to residents and is responsible for controlling access to buildings, dealing with emergencies, carrying out H&S checks and reporting on any events or concerns.

To be successful in this post you should have a basic understanding of working with vulnerable men and women who have complex needs and who may display challenging behaviour. A non-judgemental attitude is essential. As this is a waking night position, you'll need to be punctual and awake at all times during your shift. You may also need to attend some meetings or training during the day. The Night Concierge will have access to advice and support from the Out-of-Hours management on-call service.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and flexible working to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development

If you believe that you have what we are looking for, and have an interest in working for a charity which makes a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless, we would love to hear from you.
