St Mungo’s is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has lived experience of homelessness, mental health issues, substance, alcohol, criminal justice and recovery services.

We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice EEA Outreach Worker to work within our Bristol Outreach Services. As the post-holder, you will have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
It is also essential that you have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in one or more Eastern European language.

Purpose of Job:

The role is primarily to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to assist in the provision, and day-to-day delivery, of the Bristol Outreach Service working to an assertive outreach model. There will be on the job learning and shadowing staff to observe how they support rough sleepers through assessment and reconnection with the aim of accessing accommodation.

We are looking for motivational, positive and inspiring role models who will use their own lived experience of services to inspire clients. St Mungo's Apprenticeship Scheme offers 15 months paid work (37.5 hours per week), a comprehensive training programme and the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification.

You will also be required to attend formal learning off site whilst working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification.

Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre.
