From V&A’s Exhibition Road Quarter in London to V&A Museum of Design Dundee, the V&A is at one of the most exciting points in its history.
The successful applicant will deliver a caseload of V&A loans to single- and multi-venue exhibitions throughout the world, working closely with curators, conservators and technicians to initiate and co-ordinate the arrangements required for each loan project.
It is essential that your previous experience is as a registrar or that you have operated within an exhibitions or curatorial team. You will demonstrate project management skills and can prove your ability to follow procedures and museum standards of collections management while meeting tight deadlines. A confident communicator with the ability to negotiate complex situations, you can demonstrate excellent team working skills. You will have knowledge of the Government Indemnity Scheme and principles of fine art insurance as well as experience of working with fine art transport agents.
