Housestaff – Part Time

Various part time opportunities including the possibility of some overnight duties. An overnight shift is paid at £80.60 including holiday pay

 

Candidates interested in the various part time Housestaff opportunities should include their work pattern preference and availability in their application form including availability for overnight duties.

To be considered for the role of Housestaff you will possess a positive interest in working in a care environment, good administrative skills and be an effective communicator. The ability to work as part of a team is a must, as are excellent organisational skills. Previous experience of working within a school or care setting is desirable but not essential.

At Cheltenham Ladies’ College, we aim to provide a strong support network for every one of our pupils. With effect from September 2022, around 720 girls will board with us in one of our 11 sixth form and junior Boarding Houses and your role will be at the heart of our pastoral care as you join one of the dedicated, professional teams working under the direction of a Houseparent.

In addition to looking after our girls’ wellbeing, you will help with the day-to-day running of the house and more. There is a range of work patterns available, with allocated time off. As part of a close-knit community in the centre of Cheltenham, you will also have easy access to all of the facilities that this thriving town has to offer.

College itself combines a rich heritage with an exciting future. Approximately 900 pupils from 40 countries across the world benefit from the knowledge and expertise gained over the last 168 years. Driven by innovation and challenge, we prepare our girls to achieve their full potential in a complex and changing world.
