CAREERS AND ENTERPRISE ADVISOR/ADMINISTRATOR temporary contract up until December 2018 in the first instance required for May or June 2018 22.5 hours per week – term time (excluding Inset Days) NJC 15-17 (£8,518 - £8,843 actual salary)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to provide outstanding support in the development of our schools careers and employment provision. The role is an exciting opportunity to help both students and staff to guarantee the very best employment opportunities for our young people.
The successful candidate will work closely with the year group leaders and the careers advisor to:
- Support with the development of the careers programme, including research;
- Support with schemes of work, session plans and resources for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5;
- Support with planning, organisation and administration associated with careers immersion days, careers events in school, presentations and employer activities embedded across curriculum areas;
- Support with the organisation and facilitation of widening participation activities for students, including associated administration;
- undertake other necessary duties as designated linked to careers, enterprise and employability
Previous experience of working within careers advice in a school setting is desirable and knowledge of careers/employment agendas is essential.
