Assistant Head of House

Salary Scale D / E £16,466 - £18,543 (£19,312 - £21,748)

Temporary (maternity cover), full time

Term time plus one week 

Starting as soon as possible

We are seeking a reliable and responsible person to join us as assistant head of house. The role holder will have a visible presence around Hewett Academy, reinforcing our school expectations and standards.

You will have experience of teaching or have experience in another relevant learning environment, and will have the ability to work consistently, prioritise, and delegate appropriately, as well as clear and sensitive communication skills.

We believe that all students should be able to achieve the best outcomes, regardless of their backgrounds and that this happens through high standards of teaching and provision. You will share this view and understand the importance of this, alongside supporting our high expectations of student behaviour.
