We have an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities to join our established nursing team in order to provide excellent nursing care for 19 young adults with complex and multiple disabilities within a care home setting.

This opportunity will allow you to learn, practice and develop a wide range of clinical skills including Gastrostomy care, Jejunostomy care, Medication Administration, Epilepsy management, bladder management interventions, bowel management interventions, non-invasive ventilation, complex respiratory management interventions.

You will be able to develop the skills to be able to successfully complete health reviews and assessments, care planning implementation, reviews and updates, assessments around the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards as part of a wide multidisciplinary team, it will also allow you to develop and practice some management skills required to manage a staff team.

The successful candidate will be offered an extensive preceptorship package which will aim to set them up with the skills and knowledge necessary to become an integral member of our nursing team.
