The Science Learning department at the Royal Observatory Greenwich (ROG) delivers a world-class offer exploring the science of astronomy and space exploration for schools and the public.

The department is looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in flexible work opportunities to support the delivery of this exciting programme. Post holders will be responsible for the delivery of workshops, master classes, planetarium shows and other activities for primary and secondary school groups and should be confident working with both age groups. The post-holder will also be required to deliver public planetarium shows to mixed audiences of families and adults.

The purpose of the role is to provide cover for full-time and part-time post holders, enabling our offer for schools and the public to be maintained. Work opportunities will therefore be somewhat irregular, emphasising the need for flexibility within realistic limits based on the post-holders prior commitments.

For full details please see the job description attached.

Interviews are planned for 30 May 2018.
