Salary: Scale 2 Point 3 (£22,737 pro-rata per annum)

Contract: Permanent, all year round, full-time

Location: Newark Academy, Nottinghamshire

We are looking to appoint a Cleaner to join our established site management team.  You will share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility for engendering a culture of success and a belief that all students can achieve.

You will:

  • Have experience of working in a team
  • Have previous experience of a maintenance/industrial or educational environment in a similar role
  • Be hardworking
  • Have a working knowledge of COSHH
  • Be fit and able to assist in the setup of exams and events
  • Be computer literate
  • Be aware of relevant issues and ensure the safeguarding of the welfare of the students
  • Share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility to ensure that every student achieves to the best of their ability
