Role: Lush Concept Shop Manager - Perfume Library

Location: Florence, Italy 

Hours: Permanent, Full Time

Start Date: September 2019 

Lush has been creating fresh, handmade products using the very best ingredients for the last 23 years. We believe in filling the world with perfume and have been developing and blending all our fragrances in-house since the beginning, using the most precious essential oils and absolutes sourced from around the world.

The fragrance category has shown exceptional growth for Lush in the past 2 years and is a category with big growth potential within the wider cosmetic market. After successfully opening two perfume libraries inside our flagship stores in Liverpool and Tokyo, at the beginning of November 2019, we will open our first stand-alone Lush Perfume Library in a new location in the historic city centre of Florence, the birthplace of western perfumery.

This shop will play a key role in building brand awareness and sales for the fragrance category on a global scale and is projected to turn over 1.2 million euros in the first year alone. We need a fearless and motivated business manager, whose role will go beyond what you might expect from a Lush shop manager.

We are looking for an entrepreneur who is wanting to jump straight into this opportunity and start as soon as possible in September 2019. As part of the project, you will play an influential role in developing the shopping experience and setting the standards for this new concept, working alongside key stakeholders in the UK headquarters and in the Italian business.

Being able to communicate fluently in English is essential. You don’t have to speak Italian, but you must be willing to learn. Compra tutti i profumi is only the start of it!                                                  

You must be flexible with travel between the UK and Italy, so a valid passport is key. As we pride ourselves on internal development, priority will be given to candidates who have an in-depth knowledge of Lush, coupled with the relevant experience, skills, and approaches. Relocation support can be provided.
