Salary: Scale E £19,554 - £21,166 pa full time equivalent / £16,672 - £18,047 pa when adjusted on a pro-rata basis to reflect working Term-Time plus one week

The Hewett Academy has high standards of behaviour and expectations for students' learning and progress. We are seeking a reliable and responsible person to work as part of our team as a Senior Behaviour Assistant.
The role will operate as part of the wider behaviour team, working with students who need support to behave appropriately to learn in class. This will involve working with students individually, in small groups and supervising those who are working outside the classroom in our behaviour unit. The role will also involve taking responsibility for key aspects of the school's behaviour support policy and ensuring these operate effectively and consistently so that all students can achieve success.
This ideal candidate will be able to establish good relationships with students, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding accordingly to their individual needs. There will be a need for top quality organisational skills and confidence in communicating with a range of different stakeholders. Confidence with using IT and analysing data will be important.
