Title: Customer Service Executive

The Customer Service Team owns all aspects of the post-sale order processing- inputting orders on the system, arranging upfront payments if required, liaising with customers regarding stock and delivery addresses. They also manage customer complaints and returns, and are responsible for obtaining feedback from customers to improve the service Martek provide going forwards.

We’re good at:

Disrupting, innovating and revolutionising ship performance and crew safety. If that didn’t make any sense to you, here are a few things we are really good at:

  • Fixed and portable gas detections for vessels to avoid the worst to happen in confined spaces
  • Calibration gas to ensure the gas detectors are doing the job they’re supposed to do
  • Potable water testing kits to ensure the crew members on board the ship don’t fall sick

You're good at:

  • Handling complaints in a professional manner
  • Data inputting
  • Dealing with a variety of people- from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Managing expectations- both of customer and your colleagues
  • Prioritising tasks, knowing what is important and urgent.”
