The role:

To develop and execute the material ordering and delivery strategy for specific supply chains. To ensure all material requirements are communicated effectively and are in line with manufacturing needs.

Ensure materials are purchased and delivered in time to support production operations.

Ensure sufficient material is available to achieve minimum of 98% OTDIF customer sales.

Manage a supplier base that is both technically and commercially robust through agreed Service Level Agreements and direct line materials management.

• Expedite past due deliveries with suppliers and updating internal stakeholders and business systems
• Achieve improved delivery from suppliers as per original commitments.
• Planning the delivery of material against agreed supplier schedules.
• Have control of the supplier relationships.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, to ensure delivery to plan.
• Attend the daily production meetings and communicate supply status on behalf of the buying team.
