Heanor Gate Science College is situated on the Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire border and is a ‘good’ school (Ofsted March 2017) with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.

We wish to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner with a good English degree to join our supportive and high performing English department.  The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic teacher of English who has the ability to secure excellent exam results.  This is the opportunity to work within a strong, supportive and friendly faculty with a track record of excellent examination results and a collegiate approach to working.  Applications from NQTs are also welcomed.
