Gower College Swansea is looking for three motivated and engaging Career Coaches to contribute to the delivery of its highly successful suite of employability programmes based across the college.  

These posts offer the opportunity to work with learners/clients and staff across the college to deliver employability support in order to maximise progression routes into employment.

As a Career Coach you will work with learners/clients throughout their employability journey to support them in identifying and overcoming barriers to gaining, retaining and progressing within employment. Liaising with staff across the college, you will manage a caseload of learners/clients from initial referral and assessment through to programme completion and beyond to track outcome information and onward progress.

The successful candidates will have a level 3 qualification, with experience of delivering employment-focused advice and support.   Candidates must have an understanding of barriers to employment/progression and strategies to overcome these barriers. Welsh language skills would be desirable.
