We’ve lived up to our name when it comes to The Nicholas Hamond Academy, which has new leadership, a Good Ofsted rating and a World Class Curriculum Mark. But that’s only part of the story.

Our students have represented the region to the House of Commons, created a “reverse advent calendar” to support the needy at Christmas, and written their own rap number to celebrate the history of Swaffham. In short, they’re very, very imaginative – so you’re going to have tremendous fun teaching them.

With a contagious love of language and literature, you will bring texts alive and give our students the skills to express themselves with concision and flair. A great relationship builder, natural leader and engaging presenter, you will stimulate your classes to put down their iPads and pick up the greatest writing from across the ages.

In short, you will be the kind of English teacher who can make words come alive and make your lessons a highlight of every pupil’s day.
