Do you want to help tackle some of the biggest challenges facing Greater Manchester like congestion and poor air quality?

We are seeking a highly talented communications professional able to manage multiple projects and shape multi-channel campaigns promoting cycling and walking across the city region, keeping residents and stakeholders informed and showcasing our ambitious plans to deliver the UK's largest cycling and walking network. With ambitious plans to deliver a ‘Bee Network’ across Greater Manchester and £160m confirmed to support the delivery more than 50 cycling and walking schemes so far there’s a lot going on including a new bike hire scheme being developed.
You will have the ability to manage teams and deliver results as well as liaising closely with senior stakeholders including Greater Manchester’s Cycling and Walking Commissioner to drive forward the delivery of the Made to Move programme as well as helping to shape and deliver other complimentary activity.
This is a Fixed Term Contract for up to 12 Months.
The salary range for this role is £49,800 - £56,144.
Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
