Nottingham Free School is a secondary Academy part of the Nova Education Trust, serving the Sherwood, Carrington, and Mapperley areas.

We are looking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic, passionate, caring, and motivated Midday Supervisor.

The key duties of this role are:

  • Supervision of dining and outdoor areas
  • Be responsible for allocated areas and supervising students each day
  • Main areas of responsibilities will be the dining room area of the school used during the lunch period, including areas where students queue for their meal and also supervising students in the outdoor area
  • Maintain a good standard of behaviour throughout the lunch period
  • Be a responsible caring adult with the health, safety and welfare of students always in mind; must show conduct which commands respect and must see that the students behave safely at all times
  • Be aware of how to contact a first aider and of the fire evacuation procedures
  • Control queues in the dining area
  • Clear spillages quickly
  • Supervise return of used crockery and cutlery by students
  • See that the dining area is left clean and tidy
  • Cleaning the dining room (wiping tables and sweeping the floor)
