Scantech Offshore are looking for a Sales Ledger Controller to join their finance team in Great Yarmouth to manage their sales invoicing process, including verification of invoice details, consultation with sales and operations to agree invoice details and invoice query management.
The key role for the Sales Ledger Controller will be the management of the company’s customer invoicing process including:
- Generation of invoice preview report to summarise the extent of invoices to be billed in the current month.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the relevant sections of the Master Service Tracker applicable to the role.
- Accurate creation of all company invoices and filing in correct location within the company shared drive.
- Calculation of customer rebates
- Verification of all invoices against purchase orders.
- Focal point for the communication of purchase order revisions between customers and the relevant Hire Controller.
- Maintenance and assistance of invoice query records within Sage accounting package
- Generation of accrued revenue calculations
- Communicate and work alongside the Hire Controller to identify and assist with missing purchase orders
- Compliance with Company’s policies and procedures
- Maintenance of robust audit trail for invoices raised, appropriate backup and query resolution.
- Critical evaluation of processes and the identification of continuous improvement of operating efficiencies
- Ensure that all activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all involved and to the protection of the environment and prevent pollution
- Ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism in accordance with the company integrated management system
