As part of one of the UK’s top ten visitor attractions, Royal Museums Greenwich is home to many unique sites including, the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory, the Queen’s House and the Cutty Sark.

The Caird Library and Archive was awarded Archive Service accreditation in March 2018, and are now looking for a passionate and motivated individual to work within the Manuscripts Team to further develop the service. You will play a large part in cataloguing, managing, developing and promoting our archive collections.

In addition, you will manage the Caird Library display case programme, ensuring that the selection of items is exciting and engaging, by writing captions and liaising with the Conservation, Design and Editorial teams. Managing relationships with other museum departments is essential, acting as a point of contact for specialist information and advice relating to archive and manuscript collections.
