Information Technology Technician
Grade 4 (£18,870 - £20,541 pa)
37 hours/week – all year round

The Garibaldi School is a successful and popular 11-18 school which serves its local community well by providing a first rate education for all its students. We joined the Nova Education Trust as an academy from October 2017.

We have created a safe environment where students can feel comfortable, well supported and confident. We are looking to appoint an Information Technology Technician, who will work closely with Nova Central Services IT Team. The main responsibilities of this post is to ensure a modern, functional and well maintained infrastructure which supports students to learn and teachers to teach.

You will:
  • Have experience of working in a education/industrial environment
  • Possess FE/vocational accreditation or equivalent to the role
  • Have proficiency in maintenance and network management
  • Be hardworking
  • Have an awareness of current health & safety and GDPR Regulations
  • Share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility to ensure that every student achieves to the best of their ability
