Service Delivery Manager

Salary: Scale I - K (£30,451 - £39,880)

Permanent role, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Starting: As soon as possible

At Inspiration Trust we aspire to change our children’s lives by giving them the best quality education. We believe that great ICT is essential for that. As a family of schools we are at the forefront of educational innovation: we were a founding partner of Oak National Academy; are remotely delivering leadership training across the country as part of the government’s Exemplary Leadership Programme; and were one of the first Trust’s nationally to invest in building a knowledge-rich curriculum.

We are seeking someone to take on a leadership role within our ICT team. Based in the central offices, you will be responsible for a mixture of strategic projects and for service delivery across a group of schools. You will own the relationship with Principals and other Trust leaders, and work with them to bring the Trust’s ambition for exceptional education to life.

This is an exciting moment to join the Inspiration Trust. We are currently rolling out a complete refresh of our ICT infrastructure, and are planning the next phase of a transformation to improve our platform and MIS systems. The successful postholder will be at the heart of this programme, gaining invaluable experience in how to manage change in a complex but rewarding environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to establish good relationships with all teaching staff, support staff and pupils, and will take ownership of incidents, requests, change and escalation processes working with the Service Desk team to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.

This role is working across multiple sites in Norfolk so you will need to be prepared to travel between the sites.  You will have knowledge and experience in supporting Windows 10, Office365, Chrome, G-Suite and iOS, as well as key business applications.  If you think that you have the skills and attributes for this exciting role, we would be pleased to hear from you.

We therefore reserve the right to close the advert when required. You will, of course, be notified as to whether or not your application has been shortlisted.

Closing date for applications: 17th December 2020

Interview date: 21st December 2020
