Due to continued expansion, EDS HV Group is looking for a Business Development Manager to join us on a permanent basis at our Northern Ireland Headquarters in Newtownards. You will be joining an ambitious organisation where creative thinking and innovation are encouraged, whilst ensuring a continuous focus on quality in everything we do. EDS’s portfolio of wind farms continues to expand as we work towards our goal of being the leading independent offshore high voltage service provider.

Whilst you will be based in Newtownards, we serve clients across Europe and beyond, so will be required to travel in this role.

Role Purpose:

To manage the day to day activity within our established and new market regions on behalf of EDS HVM.

As one of our Business Development Mangers you’ll work with both existing and new customers to identify and develop future business growth opportunities. This will involve developing great relationships at all levels within the industry, from here you’ll develop solutions along with a customer relationship strategy and opportunity pipeline.

Main responsibilities of the role:

1 - Coordinate the sales activities, both individually and collectively with other EDS employees, to ensure client’s requirements are met for the following services:

 * High Voltage Asset Management

* Fault Location and Repair

* High Voltage Maintenance

* High Voltage Control Room and Monitoring Services

* High Voltage Safety Management

* High Voltage Commissioning

* Subsea Cable Testing Services

* Engineering Consultancy

2 – Identify & then develop Key Account initiatives in order that EDS HVM has the highest possibility of achieving purchase order awards

3 – Attend and contribute at key internal meetings to ensure the business is aware of the upcoming requirements of clients so that the individual departments can allocate appropriate resource to manage the workflow

4 – Assists with developing the OI budget forecast as needed to allow the business to plan for possible plant expansion, profit forecasting and personnel needs

5 – Create clear and concise instruction to various departments so that accurate and winning bids can be written

6 – Provide accurate market level assessment to develop a clear understanding of key drivers for each project requirement allowing EDS HVM to maximise the opportunity

7 – Review and manage the opportunities detailed in CRM to determine their accuracy thus providing a realistic level activity for the business needs

8 – In addition to the above responsibilities, the role holder is required to undertake such duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be required from time to time
