Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £53,433 per annum. Plus generous benefits. These include:

About the role As a member of the College Leadership Team, you will report to the Director of Curriculum: Higher, Technical and Professional Education. Responsible for leading and developing the curriculum area, you will formulate and implement strategies to ensure that the quality of teaching, learning and assessment is of the highest quality. You will also provide staff with the support and direction they require, to help them deliver to a consistently high standard for the benefit of our students.
About the person You should have experience of leading a team of teaching staff, have been involved in curriculum design and course validation, and have a successful track record of improving and maintaining high quality provision. Effective organisational skills, the ability to motivate others, and knowledge of the key issues facing Further Education are also essential. Experience of managing business, hospitality, and tourism is not strictly essential but an understanding of the environments these subject areas cover will be. You will need have some commercial acumen as you will have oversight of the college’s commercial restaurant.

1. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act The College is exempt from the provisions of the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974, by virtue of the fact that postholders have access to children and young people, and to vulnerable adults.
