St Mungo’s works to end homelessness and rebuild lives - our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. 

An exciting  opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with an interest in major donor fundraising and relationship building to join our Philanthropy team on an 8 months contract.

As part of a growing fundraising department, you will be responsible for supporting the Major Donor team to achieve an annual target ca. £560,000 (per annum) to support this vital work.  With strong logistical experience in preparing for events, meetings, pitches, and presentations, you will support the Major Donor team to build relationships and secure gifts. You will also be adept at personally stewarding high-level relationships, and will manage a small portfolio of major donors and prospects.

To succeed, you will have demonstrable experience in soliciting and negotiating to receive income or funding. You will also have a proven track record of creating detailed and inspiring reports, proposals, briefs, and presentations. Your excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills will be key to success in this role, and solid administrative skills will also be vital.
