At Hollybank Trust we  provide a range of care and support services for children, young people, and adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and complex needs.

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own! We’re seeking to recruit some new Bank Support Workers to join our amazing Support Worker team within our Holmfirth home  – could this be you?

You don’t need to have previous experience in care, or any formal qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent Support Worker. Above all,  we want someone that shares in our values. These are:

  • A commitment to providing quality and person-centred care.
  • Treating people with compassion, dignity, and respect.
  • Working together as a team to ensure we are the best at what we do.
  • Being confident enough to ask questions and challenge ideas.

The duties are varied, and no two days will ever be the same. Our adults, young people and children are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, to give you a general idea, some duties will include supporting individuals with their personal care needs, support with mealtimes and eating and drinking, and supporting people to attend enjoyable activities and engage in hobbies. We also have an onsite therapy and enrichment centre, where Support Workers can support with a wide range of activities and sensory sessions.

As an employer we offer:

  • A competitive salary (£9.02 p/hr for days, £9.98/hr for nights)
  • Flexibility for you to work around your family & studies.
  • Comprehensive Training & Development opportunities.
  • A wealth of opportunities to gain experience in a variety of skills.

Please note that due to current legislation, unless you are medically exempt, you will need to have both your covid-19 vaccinations before we can give you a start date for this role.
