We currently have a number of exciting vacancies within our Operations team on a seasonal basis. We anticipate these roles starting on 10 July until 5 September 2021.

The role:

 Our Operations team look after the car park, boats, site presentation including litter picking, emptying bins, cleaning washrooms and ensuring our guest facilities are clean and presentable throughout the day. The team ensure that all duties are performed effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a positive attitude and making customers a priority every day

The ideal candidates will:

  • be ambassadors for Chester Zoo delivering excellent customer service and be a strong communicator
  • be confident, approachable and flexible with a “can do” attitude
  • ideally have experience of working in a large, fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • be able to work outdoors in all weathers

 Candidates must be aged 16 or over and have completed their Year 11 studies at the proposed start date.

Contracts will be offered on a minimum of 8 hours per week basis, but we expect hours of work to be significantly more during peak periods.
