NQTs welcome to apply

Cromer Academy is seeking an inspiring, innovative and dedicated teacher of English to join our team; a teacher who shares our belief that all pupils have the right to succeed and have access to the very best education.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum for students and to support the English curriculum area. You will monitor and support overall progress and development of students and contribute to raising standards and student attainment. You must be able to enthuse, engage, motivate, and challenge pupils to raise achievement at all levels. The ability to teach photography or food technology as well would be an advantage.

Cromer Academy is a community school in its truest sense: it is at the heart of the area it serves, and is ambitious and determined for its young people. The academy is in easy reach of some of the most spectacular beaches and countryside in the UK, but this is no sleepy rural school. We are rated Good by Ofsted with Outstanding ratings for leadership and management, and for personal development, behaviour and welfare.

We are part of the Inspiration Trust, twice ranked as the country’s top family of comprehensive schools for pupil progress to GCSE, and work closely with our fellow schools across the region. We are committed to offering excellent professional and learning opportunities for our staff.

We strongly encourage visits - these can be arranged by contacting headteacher Antony Little on antonylittle@inspirationtrust.org
