Part-time: 15 hours per week (Monday - Wednesday)
£26,025 - £29,519 per annum (pro-rata)
Haringey Recovery Service works with adults in Haringey who are recovering from drug and alcohol misuse, and their families, friends and carers who need support in their own right. Our service is for residents who have achieved some level of abstinence or control over their substance misuse and are looking to move on in their lives.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Academy Officer to join the team. The main purpose of this post is to co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the Haringey Recovery Academy – a part of the service that delivers workshops to service users aimed at promoting recovery. You will support students to develop and achieve their learning objectives by ensuring that all courses, governance and policies are co-produced and delivered in accordance with the ethos and principles of the Academy. With a focus on achieving excellent learning outcomes you will also contribute to the Academy’s growth and development.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in adult learning. You will be passionate about working with people who have experienced problems with drug and alcohol and will be confident delivering groups and supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes.
This is a part-time position working 15 hours per week, Monday - Wednesday. Some flexibility is required as the role will involve working the occasional evening and Saturday shift.
In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and initiatives to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.
