 As a Demand Planner, you will be pivotal in the development of a robust demand plan. You will be comfortable analysing sales history across multiple SKUs and customer accounts, using this information to create a forward forecast. Taking accountability for the forecast, you will actively contribute to the supply chain strategy by looking to improve processes in order to ‘find a better way’.

Your forecasts will provide valuable insight to our inventory planning team and the customer services representative for the channel, who you will work closely with the team to ensure we execute the demand plan smoothly and deliver first class service.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Exceedra to develop a long term demand plan for multiple accounts and SKUs across a rolling 24 month period
  • Measure and report the accuracy of the long term demand plan
  • Seek out insight, recognise trends and plan collaboratively to improve forecast accuracy
  • Pro-actively communicate risks, opportunities, and assumptions into the management team with a view to these driving business visibility
  • Complete monthly demand review / metrics reports
  • Use output of monthly reports pro-actively to drive change and improvement in your area through root cause analysis
  • Instigate and lead monthly account reviews to discuss account performance and drive out forecast error
  • Analyse product portfolios and provide data and inputs to support stock policy and range decisions

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of demand planning is a must and you'll have a good understanding of end-end supply chain
  • Experience within an FMCG environment
  • Experience of implementing new processes
  • Experience of SOP / Integrated Business Planning processes
  • Experience of new product introduction processes
