The V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green is part of the V&A family of museums and houses the nation’s finest and largest childhood collections. The Museum is seeking a talented, knowledgeable and experienced Curator to join the Collections Team. This demanding position involves curating exhibitions and sharing responsibility for the Museum’s collections. You must be educated to degree level with experience in all aspects of collections management. A knowledge of some aspect of the history of childhood and/or art and design for children is essential. You must have proven experience of managing projects and curating exhibitions and/or displays, including experience and knowledge of interpreting objects and narratives for the general public in a clear and imaginative way. You must have proven communication and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in computer programmes including use of museum or gallery databases.
