If successful you will be working as part of our Catering team - Our company boasts the opportunity to work in many different areas, from our 3 racecourses, our in house bars and restaurants, our hotel, our catering company Horseradish spanning the UK and our staffing agency Thyme People who cater to various venues across Chester & the North West.
No experience is required as full on the job training is provided.
Duties of our Kitchen Porters can include:
- Washing-up using a commercial machine
- Cleaning of all kitchen areas
- Assisting with preparation for lunch and dinner services
- Ensuring stock levels of cleaning materials are maintained
- Aiding in the smooth-running back of house
- Ensure kitchen cleaning schedules up to date
- Supervision of staff booked on an ad-hoc basis
The successful Kitchen Porter will have the following skills:
- A passion for providing a high level of service
- Previous experience in a kitchen / restaurant environment is advantageous
- Enthusiasm and a willing to learn
- Ability to work efficiently whilst under pressure
- Full on the job training is provided
Hours of work: This is a casual contract however we have an abundance of hours available and it's very likely we will have 40 hours available per week
Hourly rate: National Min Wage as a minimum up to £10.25 per hour (dependant on experience)
Pay Schedule: We offer weekly pay, each Friday
