Night Worker - West Oxfordshire
£20,138 - £22,658 pa
35hrs per week
In this role you will provide overnight waking cover as required by the service. You will be responsible where identified, for providing first contact and safeguarding young people at night including dealing with emergencies. Other duties will involve supervising client’s conduct, health, hygiene, safety and welfare. You will be required to use a computerised monitoring system and to log and report incidents.
To succeed, you should have an understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable clients and the needs of homeless young people. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to respond and interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
You will also have experience in following administrative procedures and maintaining clear and accurate records. Being reliable and alert at all times during your shift and acting with integrity will be expected of you, as will using your initiative when dealing with difficult situations.
