WTSR Authorised Technician Role Vacancies – Onshore/Offshore Wind - EDS

Contract and Permanent opportunities across our UK and European sites.

EDS HV Group is a leading authority in the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of high voltage windfarms. Mainly operating in the UK and Europe, EDS has been serving renewables for over a decade and impacting every stage of the wind farm lifecycle.

Due to the success and growth of EDS we are looking for experienced staff with Authorised Technician experience on Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, Nordex, GE, Senvion and REpower turbines with suitable qualifications for a role within the onshore and offshore wind industry. 

We have opportunities across several geographical areas in the UK and Europe.

EDS is an innovative and fast-growing organisation with highly skilled teams that enable us to deliver solutions to the most demanding operational and technical challenges faced by our customers.

Our Wind and Renewables AT team members will have some or all of the following:

  • In depth technical knowledge (mechanical and/or electrical) of Wind Turbines from the above manufacturers and can demonstrate a high degree of technical competence within their field of experience
  • Experience in annual maintenance of LV plant and Apparatus, proven experience of working with cross boundary AWP’s
  • Mechanical and electrical completion, commissioning
  • Team lead for main component exchange
  • Main component up tower repairs
  • 66/33 kV SAP/AP experience, not essential but would be an advantage.  
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, ideally with a second language.
  • Proficient user of IT systems and Microsoft office applications.

Essential: An existing Authorised Technician, with the requirement to become authorised under customers and OEM Wind Turbine Safety Rules and management instructions

We are also keen to hear from candidates with electro-mechanical experience on industrial rotating machinery, to be developed into the AT role.
