We’re looking for a Software Engineer to progress their career in our Software Engineering team. You'll be responsible for creating high quality software solutions in an Agile environment, working collaboratively to deliver technical excellence.

We are a marketing technology platform working with top online B2C brands across retail, travel and financial services. We are privately owned and have circa 100 employees. We give our teams the 'Freedom To Choose’, meaning you can choose to work virtually, at our office, or a bit of both, you have the freedom to choose what suits you best.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience with multiple languages in a web application context (such as PHP, JavaScript, .NET, NodeJS, Python or Golang) or experience with frameworks (like Lumen, Laravel, REACT, Angular, Vue.js).

You’ll need a proven track record in delivering quality software in a web application context, either front-end, server-side or full stack as well as a passion for all things software engineering. We’re also looking for someone who can adapt, provide ideas, and present creative solutions to problems, helping RedEye utilise our technology in all its forms.

More specifically, you will:
  • Design and code solutions in a variety of languages, on top of a mixture of architectures and environments to deliver the best possible results.
  • Learn new technologies and continuously stay ahead in existing technologies.
  • Ensure solutions in the team are developed using best practice procedure and process.
  • Work closely with internal customers and development teams to capture business requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Work with the team to complete sprints.
  • Identify potential improvements in processes and tools.
  • Suggest new or innovative solutions to problems.
  • Role model the standards, principles and values of the team.
