Role: Bank Administrator 

Location: Across Somerset & North Somerset - driving licence essential 

Salary: £10.25 per hour

THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator, working across our Care Homes in Somerset & North Somerset on a Bank basis.

Day to day tasks will include:

  • Ensuring all visitors to the home receive prompt attention, exercising friendliness, courtesy and respect
  • Answering telephone calls - taking clear and accurate information 
  • Ensuring invoices, local authority contracts/schedules of payment and financial arrangements are scanned to the finance department
  • Maintaining finance records
  • Maintaining employee and resident records
  • To assist the Home Manager with daily administrative support
  • To be aware of the Fundamental Standards and the way the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulates

THE RIGHT PERSON

  • Must have IT skills in Word and Excel
  • Must be prepared to train and complete a relevant qualification to your role
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative
  • Must demonstrate a loyalty, flexibility and commitment to the Care Home
  • Be able to carry out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directors/Senior Management Team
