This is a busy and exciting time for Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM): under the devolution agreement and with Greater Manchester at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse, transport will play a vital role in attaining our transport vision set out in our 2040 Strategy.
                                                                                  
As a Sustainable Journeys Delivery Officer (Clean Air) you will build relationships with key Greater Manchester businesses, other organisations and their employees, to encourage them to promote and undertake sustainable commuting and business travel, specifically to help improve air quality. You will also help to design and deliver appropriate solutions and realise, measure and record the benefits of sustainable travel.

In this role you will lead on efforts to raise awareness of and promote appropriate electric vehicle use and the expanding GMEV network to businesses, staff, residents and visitors across Greater Manchester. This will include arranging workshops and experience events, liaising with business intermediaries and other stakeholders, providing bespoke advice to businesses and assisting with the promotion campaign.

You will be enthusiastic, persuasive, innovative and responsive to clients’ needs, with a track record of delivering projects and making things happen. You will be used to working to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment and actively seek collaboration with colleagues in TfGM and partner organisations.

The salary range for this role is £32,550 - £36,636.  Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
