The V&A has a dynamic and forward-looking Learning and Visitor Experience Division which runs a highly regarded and extremely busy Community and Social Inclusion programme. We are seeking an experienced assistant programmer to initiate and organise a wide variety of talks, tours, courses, workshops and special projects aimed at vulnerable adults and adults at risk of social exclusion. The job includes maintaining and developing existing and new collaborations with partner organisations, and prioritising and growing target audiences. It requires creativity and sensitivity, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to devise and manage special projects, a track record of experience within the community sector, as well as experience of financial and people management, and an ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
