Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Flexible Working: We welcome applications from those seeking flexible hours
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (Subject to experience)
Apprenticeships: Development opportunities are available through Apprenticeship standards

Milton Keynes College is seeking a passionate Maths Subject Leader to join the dedicated education team based at HMP Elmley.

As a Subject Leader, you will be dedicated to delivering learning success through effective leadership and collaboration. Your focus will be on the success of the students and support improvement within the department, specifically within Maths and Numeracy. You will lead on the delivery, design and development of programmes, maintaining an oversight of the student journey to ensure they have an excellent learning experience. Many of the learners have a diverse range of needs and learning abilities, they will often have had a negative experience with education – a huge focus for the department is to enable them and support them to gain essential functional skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual who can provide high-quality programmes and support students who may have little experience of education. This will be a challenging yet highly rewarding role!
