Job Title: Hospitality Assistant

Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £18,689 - £19,342 pro rata per annum
Location: Multi Site
Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Hospitality Assistant based within our City Centre Campus but with the expectation to cover other campuses as and when needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Following the cleaning schedules for the kitchens, wash crockery and utensils as required and clean the section and associated areas as and when required
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately
- Compliance with all Health and Safety, Food Hygiene policies
- Ensuring that all kitchen and restaurant ware is cleaned and maintained
- Any other ad-hoc related duties in the area
The successful applicants will have previous experience of having worked as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar Hospitality role as well as hold or be willing to work towards a valid Food Hygiene Safety Certificate. A flexible attitude to work is essential as shift patterns and hours may vary in accordance to need including daytime, evening and weekend shift patterns.
