Development Editor (full-time, fixed-term maternity cover: 13 months).

The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance, with a mission to enrich people’s lives by promoting the practice of design and increasing knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the designed world.

We are seeking a talented and confident Development Editor to work on our partner-publishing programme of adult and children’s titles. You will have extensive experience of project managing illustrated books in commercial and museum publishing environments, excellent editorial, communication and budgeting skills, and significant experience of working closely with authors, curators, designers and picture researchers on a wide range of projects.
